How does the Precision Tx procedure work?

The procedure is performed in the office under local anesthesia. Through a tiny 2 mm incision, a small cannula is inserted under the skin and a temperature controlled laser energy is delivered directly to the sweat glands to eliminate most of them to permanently reduce the amount of sweat production.

What does the procedure feel like?

Like most minimally invasive procedures, you might experience a light pressure during the procedure and some soreness afterwards. You will be able to return to normal activities in a couple of days.

How long does the procedure take?

The procedure takes about one hour and is performed in the office local anesthesia.

What are the risks and how long does it last?

There is minimal to no scarring since only two small puncture incisions are made. There will be temporary swelling, soreness and numbness that will go away after a couple of weeks.
