CO2 Fractional Laser Resurfacing Newark

Often times, facial wrinkles, scaring, blemishes or even pore size are too extensive for our in office laser resurfacing treatments. When this is the case, we turn to a more aggressive surgical based laser known as CO2 fractional laser. This type of laser resurfacing penetrates deep into the layers of the eliminating or significantly reducing facial wrinkles, scars, or even blemishes with only one treatment.

Highlights:

  • Treatment of wrinkles, acne scaring, large pores, blemishes, and sun damage
  • More dramatic, long lasting results then in-office lasers
  • Often combined with other procedures including facelift, fat transfer, and eyebrow lift.

Procedure

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia by one of our board certified plastic surgeons on an outpatient basis. Laser resurfacing can be uncomfortable, and your doctor will provide you with prescription medications to alleviate discomfort. After the procedure is completed, specialized dressing will be applied to protect the treated tissues.

Results

Results are often dramatic revealing a youthful smooth glow to the skin.
