Restylane and Perlane injections are a growing favorite to instantly improve wrinkles and facial folds, particularly around the mouth area, under the eye, cheeks and between the brows.  Restylane and Perlane are both made from hyaluronic acid which is a substance that naturally exists in the body, and its most important function is to carry and bind water which produces results that are safe, natural and instantaneous.

 

What is Restylane and Perlane?

Restylane and Perlane injections are both a clear liquid gel, a non-animal based hyaluronic acid (a natural sugar compound).  Restylane and Perlane are also known as cosmetic dermal fillers that replace lost volume and restore a more youthful contour to the face.  Perlane is similar to Restylane but it contains a larger concentration of hyaluronic acid and for this reason Perlane is often used for larger and deeper folds while Restylane is better suited for smaller wrinkles, as well as under the eye (tear trough) and lip areas.

 

Restylane and Perlane Procedure

Restylane and Perlane injections procedures are administered in our Hockessin and Newark Delaware office locations.  Depending on the areas to be treated, the procedure can take 15 – 30 minutes.    Treatment with Restylane or Perlane may be able to be performed the same day as your consult. 

 

Restylane and Perlane Recovery

Restylane and Perlane injections do not require downtime but bruising and some degree of swelling can occur after facial injections of dermal fillers.  Our team of board certified plastic surgeons and medispa will guide you on what to expect after injections of Restylane and Perlane and will work to minimize bruising and swelling.

 

Restylane and Perlane Results

Restylane and Perlane injections results are immediately noticeable and actually improve over the first few weeks.  The longevity of results vary, depending on the area of injection.  Touch-up injections of Restylane or Perlane are encouraged to increase the longevity of your results and can be performed 6 – 9 months after the initial injection.

Restylane and Perlane Cost

The cost of Restylane and Perlane is based on how many syringes it takes to full correct your area of concern.  Restylane and Perlane come prepacked in syringes and multiple syringes are offered at a discounted cost.  Based on the results of Perlane and Restylane and longevity, most clients consider the cost exceptionally reasonable.
