What is a Facial Filler?
Facial fillers including Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Silk, Restylane Refyne, Restylane define, Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus, Voluma, Volbella, Vollure and Belotero injections are all a clear liquid gel, a non-animal based hyaluronic acid (a natural sugar compound). They replace lost volume and restore a more youthful contour to the face. Depending on the concentration of hyaluronic acid and molecule size, each filler is suited for different purposes in volume restoration of the face.

Radiesse is a cosmetic filler used to fill in lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. It is made of hydroxylapatite, a substance found naturally in the body, and contains microspheres that not only help to plump the skin but also promote collagen growth. Treatment is fast, and results can last for up to two years.
Procedure
Facial filler injections at Nouveau Cosmetic Center are administered in our Newark, Hockessin and Rehoboth Delaware office locations. Depending on the areas being treated, the procedure can take 15 – 30 minutes. Treatment with facial fillers may be able to be performed the same day as your consult.
Recovery
Facial filler injections do not require downtime but bruising and some degree of swelling can occur after facial injections with filler. Our team of board certified plastic surgeons and experienced medispa staff will guide you on what to expect after injections and will work with you to minimize bruising and swelling.

Results
Facial filler injection results are immediately noticeable and actually improve over the first few weeks. The longevity of results varies, depending on the area of injection. Touch-up injections of facial fillers are encouraged to increase the longevity of your results and can be performed 6 – 9 months after the initial injection.
Cost
The cost of facial fillers is based on how many syringes it takes to fully correct your area of concern. Facial fillers come prepackaged in syringes, and multiple syringes are offered at a discounted cost.
