Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
Nose surgery, or rhinoplasty, is a procedure that reshapes the nose when a patient desires a different, improved contour. Bumps in the nasal bridge can be removed, and the nostrils can be narrowed. Any bruising and swelling is kept to a minimum, and the patient will be able to resume normal activity in seven to 10 days. Neck Lift (Platysmaplasty)
Signs of aging in the neck area are common among older individuals. The skin of the neck is often one of the first places to show age when the neck muscles slacken, fat accumulates, and the skin loses its elasticity. A neck lift can tighten and smooth this area, and may be performed in conjunction with liposuction to remove excess fat. The addition of liposuction to a neck lift procedure will give the patient longer-lasting results. A neck lift is an outpatient procedure, and recovery time will depend on whether the neck lift is performed by itself or together with liposuction or another procedure, such as eyelid surgery, face lift, or rhinoplasty.
Laser Resurfacing
Laser resurfacing can improve the appearance of facial wrinkles, scars, and uneven pigmentation. Many types of patients are candidates for laser resurfacing – those with skin that is sun-damaged; those who have "crow's feet" around their eyes, or vertical lines around their mouth. Patients who have blotchy skin, brown patches, or precancerous growths, as well as patients who have scars from acne or chicken pox, are also good candidates for laser resurfacing.
